Borden Case-Related Graves

The History of Oak Grove Cemetery is in its third printing and was first published in 2011. It is currently available on Hollisterpress.com, Amazon, or at the Fall River Historical Society and Lizzie Borden Bed & Breakfast Museum. It contains the locations and biographies of 42 people connected to the Borden case and other information about the history of the cemetery, a glossary of cemetery terms, maps, and Victorian mourning customs information. Some of the monuments appear in these short videos describing the connection to the Borden case. Here is a sampling of five on Youtube.

The Prospect St. entrance and Ladies’ Comfort Station
The City Holding Tomb
The John Grouard Plot
The shocking murder-suicide story of Lizzie Borden’s great-aunt Eliza Borden
City Marshal Rufus B. Hilliard who received the call that something was amiss at #92 Second St. on the morning of August 4, 1892.
