Kwanzaan Cherry in bloom

spadeSpring is officially here and, if you have not had the chance to, I encourage you to stop by Oak Grove as the trees are just starting to bloom.

Or, better yet, join us this Saturday May 9th at 9AM as we conduct our first planting event of the year to see first hand the changes we continue to make to this historic landscape.

We’ll have 11 new trees to plant.  For those of you keeping track, this brings the total number of new trees we’ve planted in Oak Grove since May of 2008 to THIRTY!

If you have a shovel, please bring one along.  If you are not able to lift anything heavy, we do need assistance mulching and welcome your help.  We plan to meet at the main gates on Prospect Street.

Hope to see you there!
